If you have Google Chrome and hate the pop ups you get when you click on the blank space or some text of video/picture/poker advertising sites, then you will definitely want to install Better Pop Up Blocker.

While I’m working on the Optimal Cycling software and getting some documentation written up, I’ve created a very useful Google Chrome extension and bookmarklet.

It is called OCP VideoPOPOUT and is  allows you to pop out videos from popular sites like YouTube, Vimeo, MegaVideo, Yahoo Video, and many others. This is the most robust tool of its kind out there and also works for videos embedded in forums/blogs. I’ve tried other tools to pop out videos but they are no where as comprehensive or robust as mine.
